The £2,592 cost of this 6-8 week Leadership Bootcamp is heavily subsidised by government funding. Fully funded options are available in some cases.
There are two distinct options for securing the final 9 leadership bootcamp spaces on our January cohort:

1. External promotion costs: The course is 100% Fully Funded if the employee is using the training to secure an interview for a new leadership position outside of your current organisation.
2. Internal training costs: To support your existing staff to gain increased leadership responsibility (or a promotion) 100% FULLY FUNDED in some cases:
– Small-to-Medium Providers (<250 Staff): you pay 10% (£259.20 per employee).
– Large Providers (>250 Staff): you pay 30% (£777.60 per employee).
There are four skills bootcamps available to choose from, each geared towards a specific role within social care leadership. Please note, we are able to offer places to groups of staff for organisations seeking to provide internal development.
Course Content
There are 9 key modules which each bootcamp covers, with the specific content being directly tailored to your targeted role/responsibilities.
- Being a leader
- Leadership and management styles
- Communication
- Performance management
- Managing difficult conversations and situations
- Reflective practice
- Mentoring and coaching
- Paperwork
- Professional development opportunities and career pathways

These modules are all designed to boost management and leadership skills, ensuring that candidates are fully prepared to take on their new role/responsibilities.
Courses are 9 x 1-hour tutor sessions, followed by activities returned to the tutor for marking. Learners earn a certificate at the end of the course (assuming they completed the above homework activities). The courses are fully flexible and can be adjusted depending on the candidates individual schedule/availability.

Progression
For Internal candidates:
- leads to either an interview for an actual vacancy
- or additional leadership responsibilities.
For External candidates:
- leads to an interview for a leadership vacancy
- or use this to become self employed.

Eligibility
In order to access these free bootcamps you must:
- Be aged 19 or over
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Live or work in West Sussex
- Have lived in the UK for 3 years, or have a valid exemption.
